About the product

Heavy Cut is an innovative polishing compound with high cutting power. It is designed for removing deep scratches, oxidised paintwork and removing paint overspray. The water-based formulation and aluminium oxide abrasive provide high cutting performance while maintaining a comfortable work process. This allows for effective breakdown of the abrasive, while reducing dust and shortening the working time. The water base ensures easy and quick removal of the compound residue from the surface. The product does not contain fillers, silicones or waxes. It removes P1200–P1500 sanding marks.

ULTRACOAT Heavy Cut works best with hard and medium polishing pads, microfiber pads and wool pads. It is suitable for all types of polishing machines. A subtle cherry fragrance makes the polishing process more pleasant.

How to use it

Important: Shake before use. Use on a clean and cool surface. Apply 4–5 drops onto the polishing pad. Polish with moderate pressure. Work on elements approximately 50 × 50 cm in size. After polishing, remove any remaining compound with ULTRACOAT Finest Wipe.

Is it necessary to use a finishing polish after Heavy Cut?

In most cases, yes. Due to its high cutting power, it is recommended to perform a follow-up polishing step using a Medium Cut or Fine Cut compound to achieve maximum gloss and a perfectly refined finish.

Does Heavy Cut contain silicones or fillers?

No. Heavy Cut does not contain any silicones, waxes, or fillers. This means that paint defects are not masked, and the correction results achieved are genuine and easy to verify.
